The Gantry
Event networking app
Walk into the room already knowing who you're there to meet.
The brief
Make a quiet networking product worth trying before anyone can download it, and give event organisers a reason to bring the whole room.
Highlights
- 01
Four moves, one page
Find the Room. Read the room. Nudge with intent. Keep the thread. The whole product, explained in four lines.
- 02
Positioned by what it refuses
No feed, no likes, no counts. A section on what the product deliberately is not does more than a feature list.
- 03
Two audiences, one scroll
Attendees get the swipe and the nudge. Organisers get CSV upload, delegate access and analytics, and it is free for them.
- 04
A product that looks finished
Nine product screens drawn from code, so no real names or emails can ever appear on the page.
- 05
Plain and quiet
One page of HTML and CSS. No framework, no tracking, no outside requests. Fonts and icons are served from the same place as the page.
What worked best
Show the product before the product.
Real looking screens, drawn from code, let people judge the idea before it exists. Each screen sits at its true proportions, with tap to enlarge on a phone.
